From 2001 to 2010, the facility hosted the annual "play-in" game in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Beginning in 2011, when the tournament expanded to four opening-round games, the arena continued to host all "first four" games. The arena has hosted more men's NCAA Division I basketball tournament games than any other venue.
Venue is air conditioned.
Parking Information
Fan parking will be available in the UD Arena lot. The price to park is $2/car per day (which can be purchased online while buying your ticket). Directions to the UD Arena can be found here.
TBT CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK
After Flyers fans came out in droves to support Red Scare in Columbus in 2019, it was a no-brainer decision to bring TBT to Dayton. And when we saw the results of the school’s $72 million renovation to UD Arena, we decided to go all-in and bring TBT’s Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Winner-Take-All Championship Game to Gem City from July 31 - August 3. With the likes of Devin Oliver, Trey Landers, and Ryan Mikesell all on board, Red Scare has vowed to win three games at the Columbus Regional and play in front of their home fans.
But even if they don’t make it to Championship Week, it’s still going to be an unforgettable week of hoops. Can Marquette alumni Golden Eagles go back-to-back? Will Aaron Craft and Carmen’s Crew win another title in the Buckeye State? Might 4x champions Overseas Elite return to their winning ways? Or will a new team cement themselves as the king of the TBT world? With the Elam Ending in play, one team will hit a shot worth seven figures. You don’t want to miss this.
